SP68 - Augusta 5th 2009 - I'm Baaaaaack!
Did you miss me? Because, well, baby you know i missed you. I promise i'll never leave you again. Whats that you say? You don't trust me!?
Yeah its been three (3) years and countless thousands of emails. The Snake People have all but disbanded, but their spirit lives on in this website, which i promise to maintain to best of my ability from here on out. The new format is: A review or feature, links and pictures with each post. Everytime i post a link will be generated which can be sent to friend or whatnot. All archives will be kept on the bottom left hand side of the page. Movie reviews, game reviews, and reviews of things ive picked up at garage sales and flea markets will be added along with the slurry of everything else. Blogs of my daily life will spin this top like Dead or Alive. Oh, and i will be doing that alot too, anything underlined is clickable.

SP69 - Augusta 6th 2009 - You make me big in the pants, alots.
Oh just check this out, and e-gads sir! Remove your hands from your loins!
You see it correctly, a portable Master System. Seems pretty unfinished but its the first, so its no going to be beautiful. Good game too. Jump here for the video of it running... thanks Ben Heck. Ive seen a fuck-ton of mods for portable gaming devices, and frankly, its all been done before. What I'm waiting on is the first hand held device with a Mistress Port.* *Mistress ports have not been invented yet, but essentially its a USB powered vagina.
Now this could be something special. Its the Retro Mini X, available from our friends at Thinkgeek. Its a portable NES, with controllers, and a zapper. Seen this before too, but i would actually buy something like this. Be the hit of any party for fucks sake. Unwashed girl nerds from nearby Comic Conventions await you, and put their meats at your disposal, all you need is the Retro Mini X, the commander of all nerd-gine. Equip this epic item: Lose your virginity for the next 60 seconds.
Did you know Sharp made a TV with a built in NES in it? Craziness you say? Nay sir. Check out the ebay page, its only a grand. Don't worry you can't afford it. I know nearly everything about NES, and i had no idea something like this existed outside of hotels in japan. Speaking of japan, i heard Sharps Japanese model had a fully functional mistress port.
FPS Zelda. What? Click here for video i can't even talk right now my balls are in my throat.
Me. You may wonder what i have been doing lately, so ill clue you in: -Working -Having a Baby -Raising said baby -Building Arcade Cabinet -Writing book I'm living life the best way i know how. I had a really rough patch, and had to move after a tornado hit my house, and again after we had the baby and our lease was up. This is the first time i can really just sit down and update the site and be me again.
SP70 - Augusta 7th 2009 - Commodore Action. Thrift findings #1
So... my wife and i goto a Kiwanis in Cape Coral on one of our thrift shopping holidays. Once a week on my day off we go Garage Sale hunting and thrift store shopping for video games, VHS tapes, books, baby clothes, you name it. We can't afford to buy new and you would be surprised to what we have amassed in a few short years. Anyways. I found a Commodore 64 cart called "Write Now!" a C64 word processor. I bought it for $.25 cents and took it home with me. My wife kept telling me "i didnt need it", and "you have enough crap" which made me want it more. As is my nature, i found out everything i could about it.
Write now! Is made by Cardco, that i can see by reading the front of the cart. Just off the top of my head i know that Cardco made keyboards and memory tapes for the Vic-20 Further research shows me they make, well everything. Write now! was part of a multi cart series to take advantage of profesional people that did not have a real computer. Also available was Graph now!, Mail now! and so on. These carts are considered +2 rarity by the C64 rarity guide. Typically these games go for about $6-$7 on ebay. Overall not a bad investment for me i guess.
The line up.
Gameboy cufflinks. Just because, and you know you want them.
The SMB shower set.. why? I poribibly had all of it im sure.
SP71 - Augusta 15th 2009 - Blood & D&D
The video to the left is the trailer for a D&D cable access show called Dungeon Majesty. Basically a nerdy guy gets 4 hot chicks to play D&D with him, and they kind of act act the progression of the game with a green screen every so often, but together, it makes an ultra "nerdgasm" of epic proportions. LARPing in all its forms is pretty easy to make fun of, and though i have LARPed before, i would never do it again, because i enjoy sex, beer and all things that fucking make me a man.
I was watching Bravo really late at night when i should have been doing other things and i saw The Blood of Heroes was on again. Of course i watched it, and i reviewed it, so here it is in all its dogskull-fucking mayhem.
THE BLOOD OF HEROES! (now with 200% more skull sexorz)
SP72 - Augusta 20th 2009 - I feel another review coming on
There is something about adult movies animated movies that just makes everything better. Of course I'm talking about Heavy Metal, the 80's movie with tits, violence, and the magnificent and coveted silver beaver. I first saw this movie at a sleep over in Vermont when i was 9 years old, and it has stuck with me ever since. So whenever you're ready... click here to get fucking vaporized in the back seat of a taxi.
